  • good luck on your journey back to yourself.
    Sep 19 2023

hiiiiiiiii!!!! i want to first say thank you to everyone for supporting me in my absence, it feels so good to be back. recently, i had a friend remind me of just how hard i worked to build an online community, to build a safe space for myself and for others and that it's okay to take as many breaks as needed, but to remember to come back. thank you miana <3 this inspired my message to you all today, sending you luck on your journey back to yourself.

one of my favorite writers, billy chapata once said, "the journey back to yourself will be soft on some days and rough on others, liberating in certain moments and absolutely frightening in others, but you've evolved too much for your way back home to be straightforward, you can't continue to walk on the same paths you've outgrown."

every experience in life has brought you exactly where you needed to be, bringing you closer and closer back to yourself. don't let fear and comfort keep you in spaces and places that you've outgrown. the grass can be greener where you water it and on the other side, so just journey. journey into alignment with understanding who you are today and where you want to be. the path to get there will not be straight, but it'll be worth it.

i realized that these podcasts are essentially audio hugs to my younger self. they are audio journals for my present self. and they are audio love letters to my future self. as i spread this love onto myself, i am sending love to everyone feeling the weight and pressure of trying to take back claim on the best version of themselves. just remember, just as you need love today, that best version yourself also needed love and healing, so you are, just as you have been, are going to be okay.

  • you're never reaaallly alone...lessons in solitude.
    Mar 7 2023

hiiiiiiiii!!!! in today's episode, we're talking about some lessons that i have been learning in my era of solitude. low-key a continuation of the last episode, but the message isn't so romance focused.

at your best, you are love. this was a lonely month, but i RARELY felt alone. instead of submitting to the negative emotions associated with being isolated and alone, i made intentional time for myself as well as nurtured my crafts because that is where i found true love and contentment.
the amount of things i learned about myself this past month (february) was super uncomfortable at times...but extremely beneficial to my continuous growth as a person. lol, look y'all, the journal pages were written this month okay??

this wasn't the most important thing i realized, but what i will share is that seeking community to not feel alone will never fulfill you like creating your own.

find love in yourself, it's the one relationship you can't run from. 💌

    book I reference:
"Healing Through Words" by Rupi Kaur.
here's a link to purchase via amazon: https://a.co/d/aZoGDFz
i have gifted and referred this book to so many people, because it really has been super helpful in helping me discover parts of myself that i've ignored and suppressed. she breaks it down into four categories; hurting, loving, breaking and healing. idk, i enjoy the depth of self-discovery, and i think that you could too....no matter how uncomfortable it may get.

  • single or not, you can buy yourself flowers.
    Feb 14 2023

happy valentine's day my loves! this is the first episode of the "maybe tuesday." podcast and i am so happy that you're here. in today's episode, we're talking about the importance of dating yourself and how in doing so you'll form a closer relationship with yourself and others. by spending intentional alone time by yourself, you're able to see what you truly desire and value as well as the sh*t you put up with just from not knowing any better. the most meaningful relationship you can have is the one that you have with yourself. so... love on yourself super hard today and every other day.
