Healing is a big subject I wish we were taught in schools among other important life skills. How to face life's suffering and uncertainty specifically in an Arab society.

In part 1 of episode 2 of Know thyself, we discuss healing as a subject, the importance of community, inner-child healing work, grief and trauma. All whilst sharing very personal stories and experiences.

Have you ever wondered what your genetic makeup say about you? Well I have always been curious to get to know myself better starting from within on a molecular level.
In this episode I got to know up-close Maria Al Hinai, the co-founder of Shafra an at-home genetic testing service provider in Oman.
Oh by the way, the founders are two amazing Omani female scientists who are forging and uncovering ways in the STEM field from home.
Besides the science, I got to know the writer and creative side of Maria. There is a little treat at the end of the episode.
