    発音上、最も影響力がある音はストレスシラブル。特に正確に発音しよう。

    Thursday /’therz dei/
    発音のストレスは /therz/ の部分、
    “サーズ”と発音すると/sardz/ になり、
    Saturday /sa ter dei/に聞こえた。

    ‘th’はむしろ『t』に近い音

    ‘th’はカタカナで『サ行』で表すが、
    むしろ『タ行』の方が近い。

    ‘t’の発音：舌をソフトパレットに当てる
    ta-ti-tu-te-to
    ‘th’の発音：舌を上前歯に当てる
    tha-thi-thu-the-to
