In a place like Las Vegas, people can find themselves in complicated situations with difficult and dangerous people. Chance Hardway is a debt collector, bounty hunter, assets-recovery specialist, and anything else needed—if the money is right. When Chance is hired to deliver a car with a valuable cargo hidden inside, he finds himself at opposite ends with dirty cops, the Russian Mafia, and street gangs. If that wasn’t bad enough, Samantha, a beautiful woman from Chance’s past, needs his help. The help Samantha needs puts her former bodyguard and a young boy at opposite ends of a violent Chinese street gang and their notorious leader.

Chance’s problems only worsen when Morgan, the woman he loves, is beaten, scarred, and abandoned in the desert. Needing to help Morgan, Samantha, and the young boy, Chance makes a dangerous wager with a dangerous man. Now, he’s forced to double down.
