A mythology collection of 80 Welsh legends and myths, gathered from across Wales. Welsh Legends and Myths is a compendium of traditional myths, Welsh fables, Welsh fairy tales and real stories. Like other Celtic mythology, many of the myths and legends told here are based on factual events. While some have mythical roots, all are entertaining.

Wales is a whimsical country with a powerful, complex, myth-filled, and oft disputed history. From these origins, tales of an ancient sunken kingdom began to spread, and they have persisted over the centuries, leading many to search for the place called Cantre'r Gwaelod. Arnold Appleforth claims getting old is all about attitude. And if that's the case, he needs all the attitude he can get, because his journalistic career is on life support, his sex life nonexistent (except for a recent regrettable incident at a well-known chain restaurant), his financial position precarious and his alcohol consumption prodigious. Add to that his abysmal parenting of his three (or is it four?) children and the biohazard status of his flat, and life isn't a bed of roses.
