Good, but not best

Would you listen to Rapture in Death again? Why?
Yes, I've enjoyed the series so far.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I guessed the method and murderer early on so that was a let down.
Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, and it's as good as the rest. Excellent reading and characterizations.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
A little disappointed. FIrst time I guessed the method/murderer early on and the ending was a tad abrupt.
Any additional comments?
I still enjoy this series and look forward to reading more.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. Lt. Dallas is tough, savvy, and a "cop's cop" Good detective work, believable.
What other book might you compare Indulgence in Death to and why?
Being that this one is in the future I can't compare. I typically don't read sci fi or futuristic stories but this was believable.
Which scene was your favorite?
In the shoe store with her partner, who's literally drooling over the high priced shoes. Their interaction is hilarious.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed a few times.
Any additional comments?
Good enough that I downloaded two more of Robb's works.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
No.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Perhaps more interaction of the couple who get engaged at the end of the story.
What about Lisette Lecat’s performance did you like?
Her conversations were believable and well spoken.
Do you think In the Company of Cheerful Ladies needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I've read a few in this series and have enjoyed them all. The people in this African town are so polite, which I find very appealing and so lacking in our own society, it's wonderful just to listen to them speak. A delight!

Storytelling at its Best
Reviewed: 03-25-12
What did you like best about The Tiger's Wife? What did you like least?
I liked the descriptive verse, although at times it was a bit tedious and ongoing. The folklore was fascinating, yet sad that people could be so naive and stubborn in their misguided beliefs.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Tiger's Wife?
My favorite part was the father narrating the story about the undead man. Great story teling.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
I thoroughly enjoyed the male narrator, but the female narrator was less interesting.
Do you think The Tiger's Wife needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No, I think it ended perfectly, leaving the reader to ponder if the granddaughter ever meets up with the undead man and confirm he has the book.
Any additional comments?
Overall, a little long, but loved the story.
