POSITIVELY MIND-ALTERING!
Revisado: 10-30-20
This review is for the audiobook. The first three chapters were a little rough because, to be honest, the narrator was extremely robotic. But, right around chapter 4, he completely loosened up and everything worked out fine.
It's amazing how life-changing a book can be when you are at the right place in your life to receive it. This is such a book!
I am a lifelong procrastinator that has always struggled with being able to finish anything that I start. It's unbelievable how helpful this book is for me. I listened to it once straight through today, and then a second time while jotting notes into a spiral notebook. I think I'm going to invest in the paperback as well because I love highlighting information for reference.
This book is very well thought out, very organized, and so actionable. I love the summaries at the end of each chapter along with the key takeaways. I highly recommend this book if you ever have trouble finishing anything!

Isochronic tones: Deep relaxation with healing Schumann Resonance.Isochronic tones have an incredibly amazing effect on our body. They are capable of calming us, releasing us from the obsessive ruminations of everyday life, triggering feelings in us that lower our pulse, and sustainably relaxing our body and mind. The method is based on the fundamental research of the German physicist Heinrich-Wilhelm Dove. He discovered that isochronic (or isochronous) tones can put our brain in a deep relaxed state (theta state). This happens due to a law of nature - audio resonance.

Bubbling cauldron?
Revisado: 11-19-19
I would have given this five stars but...
I put it on my tablet, and the plan was to just let it play all night and hopefully KEEP me asleep. It put me to sleep pretty quickly, but I was rudely awakened at 3:38am by sounds I can only describe as a giant, bubbling, hot, witches cauldron. Seriously, it's an hour of very obvious hot, bubbling, liquid. Good luck trying to get to sleep after being awakened by that! If you can get past that irritating and odd chapter (Chapter 8) then you will love the other chapters. From now on I'll just set the timer on the tablet so that it turns off before that dreaded chapter.

FANTASTIC WAY TO FALL ASLEEP
Revisado: 11-18-19
I have so many audio books that are subliminal message based, so all I wanted was really calming music and sounds. I'm a life-long insomniac and quieting my mind enough to fall asleep is very difficult. This audio book is absolutely phenomenal and is now my favorite for relaxing and falling asleep! The music and natural sounds are so soothing. I'm so glad I found it!

Awesome program...it helped me tremendously, AND IT WORKS!
Revisado: 06-09-19
I own this on Audible and on CDs and I've listened to it over and over. It rings so true with me and I've gotten so much from it. My only wish is that I had found it sooner in my life...but, better late than never! I'm following the program very closely and have Vision Boards and Daily Vision Affirmation cards in several places. Just try it...you'll see that it actually works!

EUREKA...I'VE FINALLY FOUND IT!
Revisado: 05-02-19
This book spoke to me on so many levels and made so much sense to me. At the age of 52 I had found myself taking all the blame...that I was just not disciplined enough. Atomic Habits really opened my eyes and I have a new found hope and a plan for various aspects of my life. It turns out that discipline is not the problem...lack of systems that actually work is the problem.
The concepts and rules are so easy, simple, and make total sense. I love this audio book so much that I will be listening again, immediately. It contained so much valuable information that I stopped and kept notes the first time around. My second listening will be to commit the information to my full understanding and prepare to put what I've learned into practice immediately!
Atomic Habits is the way to do it, and do it successfully!

Great Collection of Interview Questions
Revisado: 08-25-18
I feel I really benefited from this audio book. I ended up typing up the questions that were relevant to me while I listened, and then wrote out my answers later. The narrator was really good. The only thing that would have made this book better was if it had been offered in print as a workbook, with the questions already written out, and blanks to write my answers.

Learning how to write a book is easy. Learning how to write a book that doesn't suck and can actually make you money - and set you up for a full-time writing career is harder.
But it's nowhere near impossible. And it's far more doable than you can imagine. The trouble is, most books offering tips on how to write a book fail to address two key considersations: 1) Most self-published nonfiction books suck. 2) It's almost impossible to make a living from one self-published nonfiction book.

Michael Rogan is an excellent How-To writer who does an awesome job of taking you through the process of writing, step by step. His passion for writing is infectious and very motivating. I will definitely buy more of his books!
The narrator had a great voice, used great tone and reflection throughout the book. I've already gone through it twice now, once just listening/reading, and once stopping along the way to take notes.
I LOVED THIS BOOK!

I bought this book and listened to it on Audible. I LOVED IT!!! Kadavy breaks everything down into simple, bite-sized, VERY DOABLE pieces. He has a great speaking voice and is very easy to listen to. It's short (under an hour), but has a lot of great information. It was so helpful that I'm going to listen at least a second time...and then start writing MY book!
