Not just Kool-Aid

Glenn is a thinker operating at the same level as Hariri and the davos elites. grateful for his expansion upon warning signs previously called for and clear, actionable items at the end of the book.
chapter 9 was probably the most interesting for me as the horrors of the great reset, WEF, Bill Gates, mainstream media, etc are quite clear in my mind. what was not clear was the competing philosophy that Putin and Dugan hold, and how that meaning philosophy ties to China with big t traditionalism. honestly, prior to this I had found myself sympathizing with Putin and enamored by some of the things he was saying. on that note, I hope pray for a peaceful era with Russia where they can pursue their goals and we pursue ours. Nationalism should not be a dirty word, but, nationalist ideas need to stay within their borders at Putin is no nationalist - I see him choosing globalism.

must read if you want to fight the left

there is a tendency on the right to intuitively know what is wrong, and attempt to go to battle without being properly informed of the historical happenings in heroes that got us here. I'm guilty of it, and I suspect that you are as well. truly enjoyed this substantive and in-depth look into the grave of leftism.
The ending definitely leaves me hopeful. however, we can simply look at China and see that their cultural revolution did not necessarily fail, rather it birthed into a communist capitalist hybrid. The critical theories modeled the class revolution that occurred there and I fear that the West will simply be satiated by a parasitic, vampireish drawdown of capitalist success.

A light in a very dark room

The truth is out there, possibly beyond us humans and certainly that of our current modes of limited scientific thinking. Rupert beautifully boxes the religion of science, exposing its weak, dogmatic foundations and poking holes through the protective cloaks of the priesthood. For non-scientists, this book is quite effective - most of us don't have "skin in the game" that drives us to protect "our precious" science, thus, the concepts are quickly absorbed and understood. But for scientists, they are the ones who deeply need this information and are the least likely to engage with it. Why? Friends, we are in a very dark room...

This book is a full generation behind what is actually going on. Probably works well for people who are in their 50s, but completely fails to address the emboldened feminists that younger men are contending with.
Like a Norman Rockwell painting with Playboy and MadMen, this book has a small-town perspective. Taking its advice could be quite dangerous and damaging to a young man.
