GREAT Book-rarely give this positive review
Reviewed: 04-10-24
Scott Atlas is a hero. One of very few who actually tried to "Solve the Problem" While there were many scienttists who thought the same as Scott; few acted on it like he did. My favorite line in the book: Mr. Predisnet your closet advisors had no balls." Truer words were never spoken. First, Birx, Faucci and Redfield should be in jail for manslaughter for what they did to this country. Second, VP Pence ia nice guy, but no backbone or guts to make the right call. Kushner "Birx is totally MAGA" what a simpleton (pure defition of naive). While President Trump agreed with Scott Atlas, he never changed the CV19 Taskforce makeup and for that he gets a poor grade. Trump had some v good players in his team like Pompeo, Radcliffe, Mnunchin; unfortunately he also had many kiss asses afraid of his and their shadows. The only other thing Presient Trump forgot to do was give Dr. Scott Atlas the Presidental Medlal of Freedom.

But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Yes it is an amazing story for anybody... Yet, for all of his trials and tribualtions and accomplishments, he alsu proved he was not a great TEAM player. Yes his endurance and races done were off the charts especially given where he came from, yet his personsal life (2 ex-wives, no family relationships except his Mom) are a glaring holes in other wise amazing life story. Be careful of reviews here-too good to be true!

Story
By the time Henry Kissinger was made secretary of state in 1973, he had become, according to a Gallup poll, the most admired person in America and one of the most unlikely celebrities ever to capture the world’s imagination. Yet Kissinger was also reviled by large segments of the American public, ranging from liberal intellectuals to conservative activists. Kissinger explores the relationship between this complex man's personality and the foreign policy he pursued.

Story
Robert Caro's monumental book makes public what few outsiders knew: that Robert Moses was the single most powerful man of his time in the City and in the State of New York. And in telling the Moses story, Caro both opens up to an unprecedented degree the way in which politics really happens—the way things really get done in America's City Halls and Statehouses—and brings to light a bonanza of vital information about such national figures as Alfred E. Smith and Franklin D. Roosevelt (and the genesis of their blood feud), about Fiorello La Guardia, John V. Lindsay and Nelson Rockefeller.

Story
In 2021 cryptocurrency went mainstream. Giant investment funds were buying it, celebrities like Tom Brady endorsed it, and TV ads hailed it as the future of money. Hardly anyone knew how it worked—but why bother with the particulars when everyone was making a fortune from Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, or some other bizarrely named “digital asset”? As he observed this frenzy, investigative reporter Zeke Faux had a nagging question: Was it all just a confidence game of epic proportions? What started as curiosity—with a dash of FOMO—would morph into a two-year globe-spanning quest.

Story
These 12 half-hour lectures are about what Einstein got wrong. He may have kindled a scientific revolution with his famous theory of relativity and his proof that atoms and light quanta exist, but he balked at accepting the most startling implications of these theories - such as the existence of black holes, the big bang, gravity waves, and mind-bendingly strange phenomena in the quantum realm. This course by research physicist Dan Hooper of the University of Chicago assumes no background in science and uses very little math.
