I absolutely adored this series. The love interests, the clan politics, the friendships, the banter... all was executed to perfection. The icing on the Lochlann cake is Olivia King's performance. She gave life to Robin and Elle's mature YA romantasy.

I didn't think Raven could outdo herself but she did and OMG that plot twist. Just like at the end of book 1, the ending of book 2 was simply PHENOMENAL!

OOh...♥︎♥︎♥︎ Shifter romance lovers are sure to love this one! It was just the right balance between spicy and sweet. Our MMC (Kai) is one sexy shifter, and our FMC has a calm strength about her. She isn't feisty or hotheaded like most shifter females.

This was my first Woodward book and definitely not my last.
I loved the narrator’s voice for the main character but I wasn’t as much of a fan of her accented male characters. That being said, it was an entirely enjoyable book which I would recommend to lovers of dark mafia romance.
