Story
Ryan has learned that there is more at stake than just a single realm. The orc horde is still a deadly enemy, but it's the hands pulling the strings that have to be feared more. His team is growing larger as some of the new cultivators commit themselves to him, and he is making sure they all grow stronger. Now, he has to figure out how to combine the psionics of his bloodline, the cultivation of the human realm, and the magic of glyphs to be able to create the most powerful version of himself.

solid story with superb narration. will be continuing with the siries in future, though there was no adult action for anyone interested in that part of harem lit. Give it a go you won't regret it.

Great story with no spice.
Reviewed: 01-05-25
I love the author and have bought every book he has on audible. He is one of the few authors that when a new book drops it is an automatic buy. The story is great as usual there is a good amount of progression, some new information about the world and the background of the character that gives a nice view into the universe David created. The fourth wall break bit was neat, keep it up. David does harem books and he does them well, however this book is a fade to black type of harem lit, unlike most of his other works that can be spicy. If you are buying for mature scenes be warn you will not have any. That being said if your buying for a good story, I would highly recommend. Have a great day to whomever reads this recommendation.

Story
Incursions through the Divided Realms continue to pick up. Ryan seems to have escaped from those who summoned him, but could it be that they're just letting him out on a longer leash? Even if he can escape them, he can't escape the monsters who are spreading through the realms. Worse, his shadow is filled with all types of spidery things, and doesn't want to let him out of her sight. Crazy can be good right?

I love the author he always does a great job. That being said, one of the things I like in his books is some spicy content here and there like all his other series. This one is fade to black I automatically buy from few authors when they drop a book. this is a good book not great, but good. I might come back to this series, but this isn't one of the ones that really draws me in without something a little extra. More of a note to myself. if you really liked the first book in this series you love this too. Just not for me have a good day hope you guys have some good listening experiences.

Story
Savannah was unlike any city Derek had ever been to. For the first time since his arrival in Cydaria, Derek actually met a respectable city lord. Natalie Savannah and the city she ruled were much more than he’d imagined. With this combination, Derek made the decision to put down roots by building a shop from scratch and moving his people in. He was even able to get Silvi the beloved kitchen that she so desired, along with personally meeting Alanah Swan and learning new things about the new system he was thrown into—things that only someone who was truly strong would know.

Story
Jeff's original dream of escape, living between cities and the Wilds as a Hunter, has come true. Of course, in that fantasy, he had Alrick by his side and these Hunters are definitely not him. They might actually be closer to his childhood tormentors, Leah, and her Mercenaries. In pursuit of a way to continue to grow the Training Room and himself, conflict festers between his goblin friends Mur and Tet and his fellow humans. Still, is Hunting with his monsters out of the question? Surely his understanding of Dungeons and their strategies means he can at least try…

Mc is still a wuss.
Reviewed: 01-13-23
This might be someone's cup of tea, but for me, not so much. I like the concept. It could be a good cultivation/rpg novel if the Mc grew a pair. The narrator did a good job.
POSSIBLE SPOILER: The main reason I don't like this series is the Mc gets pushed around by everyone. he has done nothing but bend over backwards for his "guild" and they act like he owes them. No pointing out that he literally saved their guild leaders life multiple times and is training their special young master to get stronger ( which, by the way, they thought was impossible). The only things they have done for him is make him an outlaw to the entire region, told everyone his secrets and hate him for having non-humans as "friends." Funny, considering the only ones who actually have his back are his "basement clan" hobgoblins and undead friends. After basically making him the no1 criminal and he still does whatever they want. Oh, his incessant complaining really peeves me off, too. I'm done with this series. I hoped his would grow up in this book. Didn't happen. Have a good reading experience everyone and I hope you find a good book/series you enjoy. peace ✌️.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

Great addition to the litrpg genre
Reviewed: 11-20-22
In the beginning few chapters it seems like a continuation of a series. It is not! It is a set up to the story to basically show you he knows how the mechanics work in the system by and large. I highly recommend this new author and beginning of a series. He/she started on royal road which is always a good sign and writes like a veteran of the genre. You will not be regretful of this purchase.

I don't give many reviews, but this book hit a home run. Everything from the characters, system mechanics, plot, development and environmental details are great. The only negative would be how they splice the skill names in when mentioned, however compared to many other books in the genre this audiobook stands out. The narrators do an excellent job conveying emotion and tone of the story. My only constructive criticism to the publisher is have the narrators say the skills name as they pop up throughout the book so the flow of the book is better and I would have given it a complete 5 out of 5.
P.s. The length of the story was exactly as it should be, the time flew by as I was listening nothing seemed rushed or was dragging along, the pacing was perfect.
