Story
A woman does her very best to avoid at least one of the following people in her life: an annoying coworker, her brother’s best friend, and her first kiss. Unfortunately, for me, all three happen to be the same person—Brandon Cassidy. I’ve done my best to avoid the man, even if it means working in the ladies’ room whenever he visits the main office. Sadly, my days of hiding are coming to an end because I’ve been assigned to assist Brandon through the end of the year. The holiday season is already hard for me, but this . . . this is just the icing on the fruitcake that is my life.

The story is about Holly and Brandon, they've been in love with each other since highachool but never confessed because Holly's brother Chris is against the idea
14 years later, Chris is dead and Brandon returns home derermined to win the girl of his dream, only if she forgive him for breaking her heart and leaving all those years
the book was sweet and simple, and I like those dorky "hate notes" Brandon and Holly exchage to fight their feelings for each other

Nice Short Story
Reviewed: 01-06-25
I actually miss these kind of stories .. short, sweet and nothing dramatic really happens, it was a really enjoyable short story
The story takes place in six days, where Tilly finds herself divorced and broke so she decides to live in one of the empty rental houses until the owner comes after new year but the surprise is, the owner comes early and he's nonother than Tilly's childhood friend George, when she saves him from a freak accident in the house he decides to let her stay in the house to take care of him, only for both them realize that they still have feelings for each other
this is not a second chance romance.. they never loved each other when they were young and Tilly married somebody else .. I really liked how it all ended cleanly in six days and it was sweet and nice

Story
When Lexie learns of her father’s death, she doesn’t know how to feel; they’ve barely spoken in the last ten years. And she’s even more confused when she discovers he’s left her half of his holiday travel company, a successful niche business specializing in trips that explore the holiday traditions of cultures all over the world. Meanwhile, the other half of the company has been left to her father’s handsome but bad-tempered young executive, Theo. And the will stipulates that the two of them must find a way to run the company together for a year before they decide its fate.

BORING AS HECK !!!
Reviewed: 01-06-25
it is the pure resilience of the human spirit that I finally managed to finished this awfully boring book, I seriously thought it would never be finished !!
The story is about Lexi, she is a commitment-phobe because her dad left her and her mom when she was young for another woman, but this Christmas her dad died and left her his company which makes travel groups through celebrations, the catch is she has to share the company with Theo, a guy who worked with her father and he clearly doesn't want to share the company with her, through so many trials and some conversations (I guess) they manage to fall in love and form this toxic relationship that I really couldn't understand .. only to end up at Christmas and everyone is healed somehow ..
the book had a really nice premise, but the writing style is simply boring as heck .. this is one of those books that managed to cure my insomnia and I always sleep like a baby whenever I begin reading it .. I really didn't care for a single character in the book specially the dad may he rot in hell ..so yeah .. so glad this is finally over

The funny thing is, I finished the book at exactly 12 AM on new years day .. so yaay
The story is about Elias, he is basically a Grinch who hates Christmas, and he works at a corporate job and aiming for a high position in the company, then his company wants to buy a farmland from a village nearby so they build their latest project .. but that village is where Elias grew up and that farm belong to his high school sweetheart family her name is Isabelle and he was intending to marry her .. now after all these years he returns to that village and Elias faces Isabelle again and they both discover that their feelings didn't die like they thought
I liked the writing style and the book did have a warming feeling to it .. but I really can't get my head around the idea of two people sleeping together and after all that they are still questioning their feeling ???!! I mean .. excuse me ? what do you need to make sure ? should god call you to tell you or something ?
also I'm not a huge fan of second chance love and if I knew it was like that I wouldn't have read the book to begin with ..
all and all I might check out the author again but I have to research the book carefully before reading it

Story
Francie was born in a stable. Really. Granted, it was the deluxe model with the light-up star on the roof, one of the many Christmas items for sale at her family’s Hollydale Holiday Shop. Their holiday gift empire also includes the Santa School, which was founded by Francie’s beloved grandpa, who recently passed away. Francie’s always loved working in the shop, but lately Aunt Carole has been changing everything with her ideas for too-slick, Hollywood-inspired Santas and horrible holiday-themed employee uniforms.

Boring and Pointless
Reviewed: 12-27-24
While I liked this is a YA book in every sense of the word I really didn't get the point of the story it was really boring
The story is about Francie, she works at a her grandfather Christmas shop, and now it's Christmas season and her father was supposed to be Santa this year, but he panics and Francie is forces to take his place as Santa's intern ..along with her is her class mate Hector who is really nice and shy and she likes him a lot .. this season will be filled with surprises
there was nothing wrong with the story but I did have so many question marks about the main character, she seemed like she was stumbling and fumbling all through the story and there was no real conclusion to what she wanted .. she wanted a good kiss yet she kisses a complete stranger ( no plot twists there ) and she is friendly to a guy she hates ( again, no plot twists ) and she doesn't have any character development whatsoever
it's kinda pointless

Heartwarming Christmas Book
Reviewed: 12-18-24
I enjoy this author writing, it's usually funny, heartwarming and have a Christmas mission style plot line .. but I preferred the Christmas Wager more than this one ..
This story is about Callie, she just broke up with her 10 years boyfriend and he got engaged just after their break up !!, so she is devastated and decides to skip Christmas this year, but her sister arranged for her Christmas advent Challenge where each day she has to do a task and in the end there will be a big reward .. joining her is Marco, a guy she met on her first mission, and they both decide to complete those missions together until Christmas ..then they fall in love
The book was nice and it has that fuzzy heartwarming feel to it .. but I don't know why the ending felt a bit off to me .. specially with the whole Marco and his partner thing, I'm glad it ended fast but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book .. but this author will be on my TBR from now on I love her writing style

WOW !!! One of the best books I've read this year so far .. Amazing vibe
The story is about Laurel, she works at a magazine but she told a little white lie.. she told her boss that she is married with kids and lives in a goat farm, the problem is.. it's her twin sister life not hers, but when her boss's wife leaves right before Christmas Laurel finds herself forced to build a whole fake life and pretend that she is married to Max, her nemeses from her sister wedding, can they keep the charade until Christmas is over
I absolutely LOVED everything about this book, I'm seriously considering putting it in one of the best books I've read in life, everything about it was happy festive and gives an overall great feeling .. I will definitely check out this author .. her writing style is flawless

A Real Chritmas Book

I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did, it was so much fun
The story is about Bella who works at a real estate company and she hates Christmas with a passion, but when her boss sends her to small town Maple Fall to buy a store from an old man, her world will never be the same.. because when she arrives she meets Jesse the owner's grandson .. and he refuses to sell until Bella can prove herself by competing in the Christmas competition .. if she wins she get the store and if she loses she can kiss her career goodbye, but the more time she spends in this town the more she falls in love with it .. and christmas and Jesse has a huge role in that
What I liked most about this book is that Christmas is actually an important factor in the story ( those holiday movies references are so adorable) and the ending can make the Grinch into a Christmas lover .. this is such a feel good book, my only complaint is that the final breakup was kind of stupid,
Hallmark please make this a movie soon

When she’s ghosted by yet another Tinder match, Leighton swears off dating for life. Who needs apps and blind dates when she has the perfect-in-every-way (apart from being fictional) heroes of her beloved romance novels? That night Leigh finds a second-hand book on her TBR pile, which transports her to the small-town of Lakeville Hills, where the heroines wear shorty-shorts and the men drink bourbon. And as Leigh drifts off to sleep, she dreams of billionaire cowboy Killian St Clair, who could win a gold medal for smouldering and bicep flexing.

For some reason this book left me so underwhelmed despite the very fun premise
The story is about Leighton, she is an undergrad student who is supposedly smart, but she can't get a guy to commit to her and we see her fail on multiple dates and all good guys are taken, then one day a book lands on her bookshelf, she begins to read it and low and behold .. it's a cowboy romance book, and she finds herself the main protagonist in it !! but the story begins when she wakes up from that world and discovers that the hero Killian has come from the book to our world .. and Leighton must teach him how to adjust to our world
I love my book boyfriends, and I believe they are perfect where they are intended to be .. inside the books, otherwise they will be tainted by this world .. the story wanted to break that mold, but that made the story going nowhere .. because there was no climax in it .. Killian was already in love with Leighton like he was supposed to from the very beginning, and she is defensive AF about everything .. I'm glad it ended in a happy note but I was really underwhelmed with the plot .. it felt very empty
