Story
He bullied me, took my innocence, and knocked me up with his secret baby. He was my brother's best friend. And my personal tormentor. When I told him I loved him, he just laughed at me. But now I'm back in town, and he's the new Alpha. And what he doesn't know is that he has a child. I was born as a shiftless wolf, adopted by a wolf mother. Everyone thought I was weak. But I have changed, and I'm weak no longer.

Narration was awful book was not great
Reviewed: 05-21-24
I don't know who did the final edit of the narration audio. But in chapter 16, half of the chapter is full of him repeating himself and making a noise. It's like they'd forgot to chop out a bunch of mistakes and it makes chapter 16. Horrible, absolutely, horrible. Chapter 16 is where it is in the actual audio book. But at one point in chapter 16, he says chapter 17. Yeah, it totally took away from the whole book and he's not a great narrator for a female voice. He is a little too gravely when he does. The narration for the female voice and it's almost like when he says certain words together It doesn't sound great. The story was not bad.I feel like there's a whole bunch of room for more in this book.Could have definitely been, you know.An 8 hour book instead of a 4 hour book

Linc Kingston doesn’t accept anything less than perfection. Not in his billion-dollar business or in his personal life. He has it all, except one thing: his personal assistant and best friend in his bed, moaning his name. No matter how much Linc wants her, she’s completely off-limits. Jordan Greene grew up the daughter of the housekeeper at the Kingston estate, where she met and bonded with Linc at a young age, despite their economic differences.

this book is so sweet

I am absolutely head over heels for this ROMCOM, it's like a breath of fresh air in a world of chaos and uncertainty. The narrators, oh my goodness, they are truly exceptional! Connor Crais has a voice that is pure magic, like a melody that captivates my soul. And Mackenzie Cartwright, her voice is like a warm hug on a chilly day, comforting and inviting. Sure, there are moments where her cadence feels a bit off, but it only adds to the charm of her storytelling.
I devour books at a lightning speed, and these narrators keep up effortlessly. The story itself is like a beautiful dance, flowing seamlessly from one moment to the next. Just enough side stories to make you feel deeply connected to the characters, to understand their struggles and triumphs. And oh, the best friend subplot - it left me craving for more, hoping for a resolution in the book. I am utterly invested in this world, in these characters, and I cannot wait to dive into the next book.

My life is a mess, and so is my house, but I'm a good teacher, right? So why are some of my best students going off the rails? I meant to ring their uncles to let them know what was going on. But not like this. I drunkenly dump out all of my problems down the phone line, thinking it was my bestie on the other end.

This book has some of my favorite tropes all in one

This book was absolutely incredible! The way everything unfolds is just so raw and real, it truly brought the story to life. The moment when El realizes the true nature of the guy's made my heart raced with anticipation.
I felt like I knew El personally, thanks to the incredible narration by Sofia Lette. She embodied the character perfectly, making me feel every emotion right alongside her. And let's not forget about the male narrator, Dorje Swallow, who brought the American accent to life flawlessly.
The depth of the characters in this book is simply astounding. You get to know them on such a personal level, it's like they're real people. And the heart-wrenching moments that occur throughout the story only serve to make it that much more captivating.
I don't want to spoil anything, but if you're a fan of strong heroines with their own flaws, and love a good shifter romance, then this book is an absolute must. Trust me, you won't be able to put down

I am absolutely enraptured by the Monster Ball series! Each installment I've listened to so far has completely captivated me. I devoured all four books, each revealing a unique aspect of the ball and its mysterious happenings. I yearn for more tales, like the exhilarating
Minnotar and Snake story. My heart aches for the monsters to find love in a daring and unconventional triad. This series evokes a similar fervor in me as the beloved Bridgerton novels, but with a thrilling twist of monstrous intrigue. If you crave a blend of Regency romance and supernatural excitement, then look no further than the enchanting world of the Monster Ball series. It will surely ignite your passion and leave you breathless for more.

The depth of the storytelling, the way it delved into the aftermath of the character's journey, it was unlike anything read before. I've been yearning for a book that doesn't just rush through the plot but lingers on the consequences, and this book delivered that beautifully. The narrators, oh, the narrators! Both the female and male voices brought the story to life in ways that still give me goosebumps. The female narrator's Irish accent added a layer of enchantment that I can't forget. I am eagerly anticipating what this author has prepared for us next, especially in this series. The way the story was told, the emotions it stirred within me, it was truly exceptional. This book captured my heart and soul, leaving me in awe of the power of storytelling. Truly well done

This is the fourth time I've delved into the magic of this book. I never used to share my thoughts on books, but now I can't hold back. Every Tuesday, I eagerly anticipate the release of new books, but in the days leading up to it, I find myself revisiting my old favorites. And this one, oh this one, it holds a special place in my heart. It's one of my absolute favorites. The entire series is just incredible, and I find myself hoping and praying for more. The narrators, they bring the characters to life in a way that is truly mesmerizing. The story, it's a rollercoaster of emotions - the highs, the lows, the anticipation of what's to come. Every moment is filled, with the hope of a happily ever after for the protagonists. The way the author weaves the plot, leading up to that perfect moment of resolution, it's just...magical. This book is a gem, a perfect blend of humor, heartache, and a captivating storyline. If you're searching for a book that will make you laugh, make you cry, and keep you hooked until the very end, look no further. This is the book for you.

A fabulous end to a wonderful series
Reviewed: 04-08-24
When I first found this series. I thought it was the funniest series and just good-hearted fun and I really enjoyed it. This last book. I really wanted to finish it. It did drag on and was a little darker than I wanted. I wish it would have had a little bit more humor to it. Much more like mate and clutch did, but it was still a great buck. And Piper sky is a wonderful storyteller and the way that she tied everything in and pulled all of the small pieces in and you know, tied it up in a nice neat, little bow and it's great, I really do love it for the end of the series. Hopefully, there will be spin-offs and things like that. Because I feel like it opens up a huge world. And I would love to see more books. In the narrator of this book, he did all of the books in the series and he was perfect. You can tell who each omega is. They sound exactly like they did in the original book. I didn't need him to say their name to be able to know which character he was portraying at any given time. He has a real way of changing up. His voice and the cadence, as well as the accent to make all of the characters, come alive, just to great book all around.

A good protector is focused on one thing—duty. That's been my guiding mantra since I came to the hidden monster haven of Ever. My roles as protector and father come first. But I've got a secret—I'm desperately obsessed with the beautiful, kind, mischievous pixie who lives across the street. Miriam Saihem invaded my mind first, building a rock-solid friendship I've come to rely on. But my heart demands something more, someone to make it beat again. I don't want to have to choose between her or my child, responsibility or love. I'm selfish—I want them both.

This series is absolutely incredible, it has captured my heart and I never wanted it to end. I was so invested in the story and the characters, especially Igge who stole the show for me. The narration was flawless, both voices perfectly embodying the characters.
But oh, how I wished for more details about Miriam's Halloween party, I could feel the effort and love she put into it. It would have been so wonderful to delve deeper into that part of the story, to really immerse myself in the festivities.
And what about the prison for the portal? That part left me a bit confused, I longed to understand how it was made. Despite that, the flow of the storie was seamless, the characters were rich and vibrant. I am a devoted fan of this author, their storytelling is truly captivating.

ANOTHER AMAZING BOOK FOR THE WIN
Reviewed: 06-24-23
Every one of the books in this series is fantastic. This one is a lil bit different, which makes this series excellent! It is not just a repeat of the same old story. She puts in New things to keep it fresh, and yes, it is still along the same lines but has just enough differences that it is not a carbon copy of the others. And the world-building every time is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this book and her others. The narrator is also excellent he does such a good job doing both the male and female parts that after a few min into the book, I don't notice that it is a man reading the female lines. I am so hoping this is not the last in the series. Thank you so much for the fantastic books
