Amazing use of language to create pictures

I loved the back-and-forth suspense, the view of each different person in the story. And I loved the writer’s ability to create feelings and images just with her words.

Good not great

As implausible as No Exit was, it kept me reading until the bitter end. Of the hundreds of books I’ve read or listened to THAT book is one of the few I truly remember. I still know the desperate and stressful feelings I experienced while reading that book. With so many novels vying for space in my brain that book succeeded in searing itself into my memory. I get it - No Exit set a really high bar. Hairpin Bridge doesn’t match it in the least - if my eye rolls while listening are anything to go by. Still, it’s worth a read or a listen as long as you don’t expect a book a great as No Exit.

really exciting storyline and keep up with all suspense i could handle. great book and will read more like it.

A fine book

The story and performance were both fine, I was engaged to the end, and finished it easily. At the same time it’s not a title a would rave about or go out of my way to recommend. It was fine

I was really disappointed, I loved No Exit! Brilliant author! This was too much back and forth and frontward and backwards.
Way too much work to enjoy it.
