This is an excellent presentation of the Christian possibilities of heaven. It is rooted in the Bible but mixed with an encouraging imagining of what the Bible is leading us to consider. It's strength has probably arisen from the life story of the author who has a godly right to focus on our future. The problems of health eventually cause the Christian to more fully turn their eyes on Jesus and heaven. This author has been looking that way in the midst of her current life and ministry. It is a blessing to read and listen to.

This is no ordinary book. It isn't one that you rush through because you want to get to the end. It needs to be digested in small amounts so you can get the full meaning of heaven. I can't think of a better person to describe Heaven before she actually gets there, than Joni. She is always so real and down to earth and I mean that in a good way. I have begun to understand a little about my future home and I am already longing for it. It has also made me realize that I need to redeem the time and clothe myself in Christ daily so I can do the work he wants me to do for the time is short.
