New York Times bestselling author Rachel Hauck's Once Upon a Prince is the story of an ordinary girl crossing paths with a royal prince that inspired the Hallmark Original movie of the same name.

"With only a subtle nod to Cinderella, this modern and engaging tale follows the budding relationship of an American Southern girl and a pseudo-Brit prince . . . Hauck fans will find a gem of a tale." --Publishers Weekly starred review

Susanna Truitt never dreamed of a great romance or being treated like a princess--just to marry the man she has loved for twelve years. But life isn't going according to plan. When her high-school-sweetheart-turned-Marine-officer breaks up with her instead of proposing, Susanna scrambles to rebuild her life.

The last thing Prince Nathaniel expects to find on his American holiday to St. Simons Island is the queen of his heart. The prince has duties, and his family's tense political situation means he won't be able to marry for love or even choose his own bride.

When Prince Nathaniel stops to help Susanna, who is stranded with a flat tire under the fabled Lover's Oak, he is immediately enchanted by her. And even though he's a total stranger, Susanna finds herself pouring her heart out to him.

Their lives are worlds apart, and soon Nathaniel must face the ultimate choice: his kingdom or her heart?

Perfect for fans of royal romance and cozy Hallmark charm, Once Upon a Prince is an enchanting modern-day fairy tale brimming with heart, destiny, and swoon-worthy tension (but without the spice). Includes discussion questions for book clubs.

Dive into the Royal Wedding series (Princess Ever After, How to Catch a Prince, and A Royal Christmas Wedding) and experience Hauck's unique brand of royal-style romance.

This is way too much religion. It’s a great book for a 14 year old or”christian faith” person though. Half way through and have to give up. Narrator can’t carry me through. It’s too meh.

Too much religion

The narrator was great. I enjoyed listening to her.

The story was kinda Hallmark... nice for an easy read with no complication. I like the Christian focus stressing the importance of leaving your life in God's hand for him to work things out.
The characters were engaging and likable. The story
could've done with a bit more conflict but I can live with it as is.

Easy read... uncomplicated plot... Christian

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Rachel Hauck. I was expecting the religious aspect since I had read the reviews. I was a bit surprised by the storyline as it's not often you get a royal story with Christian roots. It was well written and I didn’t want to pause the audio. Sweet HEA. It left me with a warm heart and smiling big.

Lisa Larsen is an excellent narrator. She did well with the male and female voices and it rolled like a movie in my head.

Excellent Storyline and Narration
