I especially liked her comments and review of research about family pets. Such as being sure they have an environment that supports “seeking”.

I learned more about animals.

It gave me a deeper awareness into animals and our treatment of them. I am glad I read it.

Straight to the point with great learnings

I really enjoyed listening to this book while on long drives. Enjoyed the perspective on pet animals but mostly on the fascinating side of cattle/barn animal raising and killing. Appreciated the « straight to the point » writing and tone of the book.
