Not impressed. The main character is annoying, self centered and critical. I made it about half way thru and then gave up. Plot is so-so. Narrator does a good job though. I'm skipping the rest of the series.

Monotone narration; same voice for each character

I am looking for a new British-set detective series with relatable characters. I liked this book
However, I found the secondary characters more interesting than the lead. I probably won't follow.

Being quite a short story, the characters aren't that developed, but the story had a good pace.

I don't like the protagonist and have no sympathy with her. This isn't one I'm going to follow in a series.
