Hope they continue the series with more audiobooks, ive listened to over 150 fantasy audiobooks over the past 2 years and this series is one of my favorites. Main character is OP but at the same time has his limitations, cant wait for more!!!

fun story...but please for the love of God stop using "These Guys" and "Those Guys". I know I am being petty. still very fun and I definitely recommend

A delightful romp

This is, at best, a 4.5 …but it doesn’t pretend to be great literature.

The audio conbo of books 5 and 6 of the series is a superb execution of a storyline that follows some overworked tropes, but uses them surprisingly well. I suspect it flows more smoothly as a result of getting a competent editor.

(Sadly, the next volume is devoted to bringing a new cast on stage and lacks the tongue in cheek of these two episodes. Volume 8 for an Audio combo Vol-4 seems unlikely before late 2022.)

Marvelous! Also a perfection of narration!

Sometimes a book is well written but you'd never know it because the narration is either terrible or it's just not the right narrator(s) for that book. This narrator is absolutely perfect for our young noble who is actually an old monster of a magical user. I'm so in love with this series. With the next pub pack coming out in August I've relistened to this endearing tale again. I hardly ever bother. I sure hope more will roll out ever more... and speedily! This series could easily span 30 pub packs. Creative problem solving, a myriad of trouble coming from does all around; and of course magic and danger, and town building and characters that matter! Keep up the astounding work Sisa and Taylorson!
