The most famous Christian allegory still in print is recast in verse for kids age 8 to 12 (but older listeners will love it too).

In the narrator’s dream, Christian follows the advice of Evangelist and leaves the City of Destruction for the Celestial City. His travels include visits to many fascinating places, including the Hill of Difficulty, the Palace Beautiful, the Valley of Humiliation, Vanity Fair, and Doubting Castle.

Along the way, he meets Worldly Wiseman, Goodwill, Hypocrite, Apollyon, Faithful, Mr. Talksalot, Hopeful, Simpleton, and a host of other colorful characters. The journey is fraught with peril and requires every ounce of Christian’s strength and resolve, but he presses on with determination to leave his old life behind and experience eternal life in Christ.

I think that this book will be good for my grandchildren. It didn't take long and it was catchy with the poems and songs.

Great for children

The production is so well done, fun and engaging complete with sound effects and musical tracks! It's actually more like a radio drama, so it's been super good for kids, the whole book rhymes!! The music is also surprisingly pretty cool. We have the print book of this, which is also really nice, but having it on audio book has been so worth it because it entertains my little kids in a different way, or we use it together. I give it 5 solid stars

Yes, kids FAVORITE

This is the most energetic and beautiful recording I have ever heard of this book. The very first Christian movie I ever watched after starting my walk with Jesus was “The Pilgrims Progress” and now that I have children I wanted to find something of it that would allow them to use their imaginations of what is happening. They are not old enough yet to understand the wordings for the characters and be able to connect them yet but I was very moved after listening to the whole thing while doing my chores around the house today. The end had my in tears, it was presented beautifully! Thank you to whomever did this adaptation, it was very good!

Best reading I have ever heard!

This is a fascinating, cleaver, and beautifully written version of Pilgrim's Progress. I just finished listening to the audiobook with my four and five year old who were captivated at every moment. I loved it too! This audiobook is a good for all ages; both young and old!

My family really enjoys this version of Pilgrims Progress, it's great for children and adults alike. The author did an excellent job of rhyming which helps the story really stand out. We enjoy the songs as well.
It's definitely a cause worth supporting that can leave a lasting impression on both old and young.
The audio includes sound effects, it's very engaging, the voices throughout the story are great.
I highly recommend this audio book and the movie that goes with it can be viewed free on YouTube.
