But unlike what she has with Dante, this relationship is more about lust and power. Or better yet the officer’s lust for it. While both get pleasure from this arrangement, she also gains intel, which leads to major busts that fuel her quick ascension within the department. However her world is suddenly rocked when she discovers she’s pregnant with Dante’s child!

Now they have something that binds them together forever...and something that complicates not just her job, but also Dante’s relationship with Alina! But Alina is onto Dante’s cheating ways, and the officer is willing to eliminate any and all threats to her burgeoning career. Could he end up losing everything in the end?

Twists and turns

This was a decent story but sometimes it overlapped. Otherwise it was decent . It’s definitely entertaining as hell.

Title is what caught my attention

Storyline is interesting; narration is what kept me. Listen to the book as I was working out. Which kept me focused. I am going to listen to the next book...

That them woman true Boss about time a woman is in a Big Boss role

I didn't like that Angela was still going after him know about his woman. Blackmail him

Good but rushed

The story jumps from one scene to the next way too quickly. The characters are underdeveloped but the story is good. I see where the wants to take it, I like the grit. Ot gets better closer to the end. Let’s see what book two has to offer. I am also sad that they don’t keep the same narrator for the other books.

Can’t wait !!

Def enjoyed it can’t wait to read book 2 (rubbing my hands together) lol smh
