Awesome Adventure Story

This is one of those kid’s books that isn’t just for kids. The writing is great and the characters and interactions will hook you. Can’t wait to get the next in the Skyborn series!

Great story and well read out load. Very captivating voices and profound story line. Definitely recommend this book.

I am 11 and I really loved these books bc the characters don’t always succeed at what their trying to do, which I feel like makes the story feel a little more relatable. I also like that not all the problems are just solved right away, and a lot of the times you’ll have to stick around until the very end of the book until it’s solved. Another thing I really liked about it was that there were 2 narrators which was nice bc you aren’t hearing the same voice all the time, which personally gets kind of boring.
Please note that there is quite a bit of death in these books, so, BEWARE, I personally loved the story though, so just keep that in mind!

Thieves are not always bad people

Elody the sparrow has always looked up to the hero’s that saved her life when she was a child. She has worked hard to be as strong an honorable as they are. Determined Ellie though has everything going against her, because she is a Sparrow. She is supposed to be a farmer, not a hero.
This book follows her journey to have a chance at becoming a chosen Gold Wing. On this journey Elody meets thieves, who teach her some important lessons…

Well written

Loved this book. Well written light reading. Great for children 10 and up I think.
