Act in haste, repent at leisure....
After losing his friend in a terrible accident, Andrew can't spend his money fast enough on a happy companion guaranteed to keep his friend's memory alive. Mott quickly flushes his brother's creepy new pets, but the creatures have other plans.
Eager to put her classmates in their place, Homecoming Queen Jessica doesn't stop to double-check her homework...reprogramming a defunct animatronic.

Great book

The titular story, "Friendly Face" was great. It was in the familiar vein of "animatronic follows you home", but the set up had the best executioner of any of them.
The 2nd story, "Sea Bonnies" had a lot to be desired, but certainly wasnt the worst entry in this series. There were characters you could get attached to, and that always makes a story stronger.
Finally, there's "Together Forever ." Whooboy, this one had such strong "Hello, fellow kids!" energy , I almost thought I was reading a parody. Instead, we got a story with 2 uninspired Mean Girls-rejects. And the characters we're supposed to feel sympathy for are, well they're kind of irritating and a little gross. Not that they deserve to be bullied, but oh brother! And the author can't seem to decide whether they're sisters or friends. HOWEVER, its worth sitting through the mindless prattle about lipgloss for the ending. The author really lets the gore flow! We get an intimate encounter with a springlock suit, and it's fabulous!
The Stitchwraith saga finally seems to be coming together, and we get some new and exciting details.
Overall, its an bbn improvement on the last book, but doesn't measure up to the book that came before.
Better than the last book
