Excellent coming of age

Intentions and idealism blind young Alan to reality in this humorous yet deadly side jaunt in Robin’s merry men’s return from the 3rd Crusade. Perfectly narrated, cheeky and cunningly written, a must listen for any fan of the series!

Another great book, written and read.

I say keep the tales going. Hope for more. The best way to read these books are by audio and this specific reader.

Such an interesting and exciting read. The entire series has you hooked from the first novel to the last.

Never enough to read

Angus Donald to me is the best example of an author who knows how to make you ask “yeah I know he survives, but how in the HELL does Alan survive this???” Over and over. And it never feels forced or like he has plot armor. Well done.
