When Demi's private life becomes public news, hope seems far out of reach.

Christian college professor Demitria Costanas had vowed to end her affair with a colleague. But she gives into temptation one last time . . . and a lurking photographer captures her weakness for all to see. Quite literally, she's the woman caught in adultery. And almost everyone--herself included--has a stone to throw.

Enter Sullivan Crisp, a decidedly unorthodox psychologist with his own baggage. He's well-known for his quirky sense of humor and incorporation of "game show" theology into his counseling sessions. And yet there's something more he offers: hope for a fresh start.

Reluctantly the two of them begin an uplifting, uneven journey filled with healing and grace. By turns funny and touching, this story explores the ways humans hurt each other and deceive themselves. And it shows the endlessly creative means God uses to turn stones of accusation and shame into works of beauty that lead us onto the path of healing.

A candid yet tender series about pain, healing, and God's invitation for second chances.

"A story of refining one's faith in a world of sin and temptation. It just might change your life. It has certainly changed mine." --Angela Hunt, author of Daughter of Cana

This was a wonderful book on revealing our real selves with God. A book of himan weakness, judgement, forgiveness, and healing. Get ready for an enjoyable read with the many angles of human nature v.s. God when God is involved.

A Fantastic Read

Truth in this entire book. Kind of wake-up call to church today. Reminder of premises in each persons life. The book touched on the council errors of many uneducated counselors in churches today. Although this is fiction, many in my life (as well as myself) need or have needed this forgiveness and wisdom in our lives. Not a “the Bible says it now do it” mentality. This book will bring healing to many if they realize the reality of this true forgiveness versus legalism and self righteousness we see in modern Christianity,

True forgiveness

I have read it and then listened to it on Audible. Every part of it is filled with incredible life messages. It is about real hard life lessons. Kindness, tolerance, true love, and especially forgiveness. How to live life on lifes terms.
I will read this book and the rest of them many times.

I was determined to finish this book because I don’t like leaving things unfinished. However I probably would have appreciated it more if I left it earlier. There were a lot of people dealing with trauma but more focused on others than dealing with self.

Painful slow read
