Too much going on

So… perhaps it’s because the author is aiming to reach a diverse audience. Why did these already racial and culturally diverse two people both have to be bisexual — just odd… AND she’s a witch. Come on!! All while he is an oversized (the man had to bend down and turn sideways to get through a doorway… why did he have to be that huge???

He is so good with voice for women I didn't realize it was just one person performing all characters.

Flirty much

The chemistry between Xeni and Mason was perfect. I enjoyed the flirting. I didn’t initially care for Xeni’s mama. She seemed stuck up and too much. The narrator sounded like an AI program for each character besides Mason. Overall a good listen.

Wasn’t the book for me.

I relatable characters. I keep trying to like the characters. The plot was unique enough.

Awesome and entertaining a very good read

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The narrator was good as we with the different character tones changing frequently
