The Last to Fall

Bran was the vicious female with a coldness that gave me chills throughout the series. It was quite obvious that she was an emotional disaster full of rage. I was happy that she met a male that was perfect for her and that she got her HEA. I was also happy he wasn’t human🤣

Amazing series!!!

So so sad to say goodbye to this wonderful series. I hope there will be a continuation!!! Loved all the characters and storylines!!!!

Seized and Savaged (book 6) by Jude Gray (Savage Warriors series)

This is a part of the Savage Warriors series, book 6. It’s best to read the books in order. This is a story about Bran and Gael. Bran is wild and vicious and strongly believes in killing slave masters, or as she calls them monsters. She says she isn’t a savior of helpless victims—but a killer of monsters who have slaves. She is on the brink of killing another monster, Gael. He is able to capture her. He believes Bran is his fated mate but she only wants to kill him. She is determined to never give in to him. He is determined to tame her.

Unbalanced and un-entertaining

I usually don’t purchase the shorter stories but this was part of a series so I went ahead and listened. I regret that I did so. A sex scene took up two chapters. There was not a good balance between the sex and the storyline. It was just pretty much boring.

Deadpan delivery for dead inside FMC

Bran: “Bow before me you fools”
Bran has been the honey badger of the series, fronting like she doesn’t feel a thing.
It was great to see her find a guy that she could play ‘who’s the better killer’ with.

“You are strong and one bad B”
Unfortunately, the robo-narration fails to sell the fun or the frisky. Further, when both MCs are aliens,
the use of F bombs and Earth slang took me out of the story.
