Reads like a spy thriller

If my expectations were for Joel to write a dry and boring piece of non fiction, I was definitely wrong. I was on the edge of my seat as Joel shared a very even handed but ultimately hopeful book about the state of the Middle East and it’s hopes for peace.

Remarkable Insights into Current Middle East

I was fascinated and encouraged by the authors reporting on his activities and conversations with Middle East leaders. Things are changing and peace is possible!

I am profoundly impressed by this book. It has spurred me to pray even more for the Peace of Jerusalem/ Israel and her surrounding neighbors.

Eye opening!

I have always enjoyed the southern charm of Michael Beck (narrator) in his many other narrations, and I have to say, I was a little unnerved at the beginning because he wasn’t in keeping with what I expected Joel Rosenberg to “sound like”, but I quickly adapted and was overwhelmed by the astounding details of the Arab nations and the roles of the many world leaders who both are striving for peace and those that have tried to undermine its success. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of Joel’s fictional reads, (this being my first historical/audiobook from him) and will continue to look for his insight on the happenings on both sides of the world. I feel much more knowledgeable and comforted regarding the moderate Muslim believers and their desires to work with other nations/religions toward cooperation and peace. All you ever hear about are the extremists! As you said, we are both descendants from Abraham. We should respect each other’s single differences and live in harmony together! Looking forward to his take on the happenings since 2022!
