Essential reading for faith-driven entrepreneurs

A fantastic read - it may not go into a step-by-step playbook of everything needed to be an entrepreneur, but there are plenty of other books for that. What this book did challenge me, an aspiring entrepreneur, to think critically about was much more of the “why” and “how” of my entrepreneurial journey. I have also been through the FDE Bible study and Chip Ingram’s “Genius of Generosity study”, as well as started to listen to the FDE podcast. While there is some overlap, this was still packaged in a way that was thought-provoking and useful.

Excellent lessons

I love how the story elevates the role of the entrepreneur. Instead of feeling, like I am odd, I now realize that what I have to offer is valuable.

A Good Base For Starting Entrepreneurs

My name is Alex and I recently started a clothing brand called “Good Shepherd”. I started this brand to help spread hope through Bible scripture and at times I found myself obsessing over this brand. After reading this book it really helped me change my perspective on how I was and would continue to approach this business.

My favorite part of this book was the chapter of willfulness vs faithfulness. This is my biggest takeaway that I will continually have to look at as a reminder that I’m not doing this for myself but for God’s kingdom.

Guidance on where to be with god

I Loved the enlightenment on where god should be in my life. Putting him first and doing things for him and people should be at the forefront, not profit.
