What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 11-15 from the Spanish Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Spanish.

I'm picking up Spanish at an alarming rate. Very pleased! I'm at lesson 16 now. I should be at an advanced level within 3 months.

A little slow

I was hoping these courses would move more quickly than they do, but this is a successful course, so it must be the best way.

Effective learning tool

The series of language learning books from Pimsleur are very effective for learning a foreign language. My only suggestion for improvement is in aid of those who may not have a steep learning curve. Despite the probable intent that the learner responds as quickly as possible to gain fluency in the spoken language, the time allotted after the guide requests the learner to say or ask something in the foreign tongue is sometimes not adequate, especially for the earlier lessons. Overall I am very satisfied with this learning series or books and would recommend highly to anyone wishing to learn a foreign language. I was able to functionally speak with native speakers in under two months
