Lawson was a angry messes up kid when he first met Delilah. However he left to grow up and deserve her. But she is a petulant brat that makes me won’t to shake her. I’m like ok. You’ve punished Lawson for his sins but to keep on and on is exhausting. I kept listening because I like the series and wanted to get to the next story

Delilah was so whiny! And more mature in the beginning at 16 than she was at 20! Lawson is what saved this book!

Love this book, Delilah does come off bratty at time but I can understand the anger that she struggles with! I’m always glad to see the asshole turn into the good guy in the end !!

I really wanted to like this one and in some respects I did but ti could have just been so much better. I really wish there was more of a development of the father/son relationship and that we actually saw them interact more it would have been nice to see it develop and while I am glad that the reunion part wasn't overly drawn out it could have been a bit better there was really no peak it just sorta fell flat. Narration was done well,
