Absolutely wonderfully beautiful, funny and so, so interesting. Mae Martin is already my favorite comedian, and their view on sexuality, genders and acceptance is, in my opinion, the best I've ever heard, and I completely agree with them. The performance is perfect, and I recomend this book for EVERYONE!

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook from start to finish. (Disclaimer: I am a fan of Mae Martin's comedic style.) It is authentic and genuinely funny, yet at the same time it is trauma-informed. She's reached a stage where she is not throwing raw trauma narratives out. She's processed it and you can feel the care for an audience that is largely young people growing up in toxically heteronormative societies. If something like this had been around when I was younger, I might not have had to wait till my 40s to come out.

A must-read for all young people and their parents
