These books make me want to never trust again

In a world where everyone is a criminal who is the good guy? The north side is bad, where all the criminals are, but the worst people are the the "respectable" people of the south side.

I loved being in this world - where people can inherit only limited magical skills from their parents - some of which are very ordinary like dancing and some of them are important - like being able to make a kind of money they call volts.

Occasionally I felt that the characters didn't make rational, believable decisions - like - come on - who would become friends with someone that tried to kill you two days ago. But no one has ever tried to kill me so maybe I don't know. After all I don't live on the north side. Or do I?

So many feels

A great roller-coaster story. I was really surprised by the ending and left in my feelings

I really loved Ace of Spades

in this one the author successfully made me depaie Levi ramblings and double standard

can not wait to see what Enn does now that she can flaunt her Talent

Excellent

I started this series not knowing it was a series. It now has me rapt and completely engrossed. The wiring is great and the narrator is phenomenal. I can see everything so vividly between the descriptions and the narrator's telling. I'm excited for the last book.
