A nice quick one.

The main story spans three days. It has s quite eventful in that short time. You learn a little about each of the main characters and the backstory that ends up bringing them together on this winter night at Christmas time. The epilogue takes place a year later and many things have changed.

Told not shown

I liked the story and the characters but too often I was told, not shown, what was happening.

Good Story Falls Short

Lori Wilde can do better. These are interesting characters that
keep repeating the outline points without truly developing any real depth. The narrator was fine delivering internal dialog, but the individual characters conversed in an emotionless monotone.

Love Conqors Hate And Revenge

The care and Nursing Was freely given simple because it was needed, in the end love not revenge guided his actions.
