Intrigue and Romance, and a bit of a thriller

Very interesting story line, with engaging twists of plot all throughout.
Wonderfully developed characters.
Surely appreciate the women having agency.

Clever banter

I enjoyed the clever banter between Colin and Madeline. This author knows how to create longing and a satisfying conclusion with each of her stories. Now, I am longing to start the next book in the series!

Great banter, intelligence and humour. Sexy, passionate and yet still within the realm of believability for the period. A storyline which keeps revealing itself along the way. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well read.

Read this series before and loved it. Listening to it was pure joy! Narrator was fabulous! Touching love story.
