Easier to listen to than to read

I have had this book for years, being a defendant of the Cord Meyer family, but always struggled to read, as there were so many names and titles if people, it just got confusing for me. Hearing it read, and at times, following along with the written book, finally allowed me to get to the end in a few days. I am thankful to Audible for doing this production!

I expected a true crime story got nothing but a history lesson

Was not impressed. I thought I was going to listen to a true crime story by this is nothing more than history filler Had to stop listening

A well done footnote to history.

It captures the frustration of a certain privileged group of women stuck in old molds.

Its a book I cojld not stop listening to. Well written and wonderful narrator.

An uninteresting person

The storytelling was well done which encouraged continued reading. However, the story was way too long.
