intriguing

really enjoyed this one. I'm just left wondering couple thing about what's going to happen. Also wondering what happened to Quoths injury. He got hurt during the fight protecting Mina yet later he was fine. Mina's mother drives me a bit insane with the way she treats her and how everyone seems to dislike Heathcliff because of his skin tone. I kept wanting Mina to tell her mother she was dating Heathcliff instead of Mortey just to shock her.

The Nevermore Bookshop Mysteries are highly entertaining murder mysteries with why-choose romance, featuring some classic characters. Not only are they funny, and a tad spicey, but there's heart there too (Mina's journey through losing her vision and finding herself). The MC (and supporting characters) is lovingly sarcastic and very relatable. Gabrielle Baker nails Mina's personality perfectly, no notes!

This audiobook is a fantastic continuation to the series! The narrator does a wonderful job and the book is so well written, I can’t get enough. It’s the perfect mix of cozy mystery, paranormal & RH, with a dash of Doctor Who. I need more!

I really enjoyed this new character and expansion of characters

I enjoyed this but if heathcliff and mory are from different time periods they seem to adapt with no problem. how is mory so computer savvy who taught them. but sounds like they still dress like their characters which wouldn't fit modern times. she's supposed to be punk but cover doesn't fit. how is quaf a man and know how to do man things if he was only a bird in the books.
And I get Lydia was annoying but they let her go off and join the army to find a man without telling her what joining military means in modern world. she is only 16 she couldn't join. she's a child in modern world not able to be out in the world and take care of herself. she had no money.. did mory just give her a cc? but she won't find man to meet her standards in modern world because men aren't wealthy like that any more
