Very Good Modern Noir

I enjoyed both the story and the ensemble cast. This was my first book by this author and it got me interested in his other writings.

Loved it!

Very well written and performed! it's a typical detective mystery with a supernatural twist and has just the right amount of humor to keep it from being dark and dull. Loved the interactions with Frankie and hope they're in the next book!

Out of My Wheelhouse BUT

An old school detective style offered up. Humorous at times and well executed. Slightly out of my wheelhouse

Worst Narrator Ever!!!!

I couldn't stand the narration long enough to even get through the first chapter. His corny PI/Detective voice was more than I could stand.
