I only just started listening yesterday and I’m done already. Each chapter had something that left me asking what’s going to happen next and now I find myself at the end.

I couldnt get into this book at first, even took a break from it. Once I came back the book really did pick up and I enjoyed it. It is your normal Mafia man takes Mafia mans daughter.

This book had me on the edge of my seat!!! It was much more then I expected! Love the narrations 🖤

Wow!!

Julian was way too possessive with his wife. Kinda hard to see the sweet side of him. That bothered me. Well at least he didn’t abuse her. He talked mean to her when he was mad. Not sure I could love a man like that. Some of the story was drawn out too much. It was just ok for me.

Okay overall but I rolled my eyes a lot

Elena is so in denial throughout most of the book about who the people really are around her. She doesn't think first, she just acts. I couldn't stop rolling my eyes at certain parts. The story was okay overall I just wish she was a stronger woman sooner. Julian should have been honest with Elena and some of the nonsense could have been avoided. Julian got on my nerves when it came to Marie. Just because someone is the help doesn't mean you treat them like trash. It ended with a HEA, but I'm not sure I'll read book 2 or 3.
