Beautiful story

I absolutely loved this story from beginning to end. HEA! The story does a beautiful job with unfolding the love between the Duke and Georgiana

Boring Love Story

A love story without much excitement or emotion. I found it quite boring. Only finished the book as I hate leaving something unfinished and kept hoping there would be something to make me laugh, cry, or get excited. Disappointing.

So boring

There's nothing in particular thats wrong with the story, just dull as all get out. Both main characters were stuffy and boring. Nothing really happens besides them 'doing their duty'. Thats what the story is about Regency English characters with curiously modern personal issues trying to figure out how to like each other. By the end, I am still not quite convinced these characters were in love. More like just doing their duty. *yawn*

A cut above a typical romance novel. Change in dialect was impressive! THE language was wonderfully archaic at times.

The performance was one of the best I’ve heard. The plot was fabulous! The use of the particular language made me feel like I was reading something from the 18th century, and it was beautifully done. The sex scenes were not offensive and the underlying characteristics of the two protagonists only made this reader admire them more. Finally, a heroine that we can all respect. The issues in Edward‘s life and personality slowly unfurled, and this writer did not exploit the often used horrors of PTSD and various illnesses or child abuse in order to understand his development. I have a couple of chapters to go, but this was not just entertaining but impressive. Congratulations to the writer and editor.

Special needs beautiful!

I have never read a romance novel where a special-needs hero is part of the plot, and it was beautiful. I loved it completely wish more could be written like this.
