Practical

This book was an easy listen, really practical in the sounds, the visualizations and the activations/initiations onto it for the newbie. I really enjoyed the simplicity found in his explanation of the hows and whys.

You can really feel his sincerity in his words and his willingness to teach others what he knows. A really great book and reading overall.

Very interesting

I like how things are spelled out well. I like the approach the author takes with the guided portions. I only have one gripe and that there are no subchapters. Each chapter is divided out just fine but if you want to skip directly to the guided sections or to some other portion of the audio you have to make your own bookmarks. Feel like this is something audible should have taken care of when porting this to there servers from the CD format. If that gets fixed I have no other complaints.

Inclusive and thoughtful

I love the irony of those who believe a person with this level of compassion and capacity to understand the natural consequences of causing harm to others deserved to be on death row. The guidance provided and the honesty contained in this book is unlike anything I’ve ever heard in my life. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the author grew up in conditions most people only contemplate as a nightmare. I felt sad at times that those who persecuted this man will never seek to understand him as he has demonstrated the desire and more importantly, ability, to understand, have compassion and empathy for others. This is who he was when he went into that prison. If there was ever a question in my mind about his innocence, it was resolved in this book. No one will ever convince me that a guilty man could emerge from certain death as one capable of seeing the common threads shared by all religions, demonstrate and guide others through the deep work involved in the rituals detailed in this book, with the kind of courageous honesty included here. A human being capable of doing what he was accused of is not capable of producing this work, because it requires compassion on a level most people are not equipped with and have no interest in attaining. It also requires the ability to quiet the mind, set aside ego and recognize that a human person is not more important than or entitled to anything.
This is an excellent guide, written and delivered by an innocent, creative and thoughtful human being. I look forward to listening more and learning all I can from it.

Valuable

I already was a huge fan of the book High Magick, but this far exceeded my expectations. Damien guides the listener step by step through each practice. I highly recommend his books and audio version books to true seekers.
