Loved it

Listened to it the day it came out, love all her characters. They have become like family and I return to them again and again, sometimes to refresh my memory. All her book contain some of the same people, and it just feels like catching up with an old friend.

Friendship, Romance, and Honor

I am beyond happy to finally read Aaron Whitworth’s story — to know him better, and to have him be truly known. This is such a lovely story of friendship, honor, and of course romance. Sophia is the perfect love interest for Aaron. She has plenty of mystery and history herself, along with a delightful attitude toward life and lots of spark and humor.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of Kristi Ann Hunter’s stories and this one is no exception. One of the aspects of her stories that I love most is that characters from previous stories continue to be part of her ongoing legacy of stories… And yet each book could stand on its own as well.

I also listened to some parts of this book on audiobook when that worked best for me and I will say that the narration was exceptionally well done as well.

A gentleman who loves a firecracker!

I absolutely loved the story from the background of each character and how it intertwined with other books in the series! Completely captivating and so very heartwarming to see two beautiful souls find love with each other. A gentleman in every sense of the way who falls in love with a fiery redhead and her endless stories and sheer determination to make her dreams come true! The firecracker who found love and a home in a man who can make her stop talking with kiss! How he loved to hear her talk so fast the words rolled out of her mouth with such enthusiasm! And of course their shared love and pure joy with training horses! I loved how everybody else around them could see the love they had for each other and they almost lost it because they got in their own way. Such amazing friends to help them articulate and celebrate the love they found in each other! Absolutely loved this book!

The romance kept me holding my breath

I was surprised to like this book even more than the first in the series. It did not have the feel of a sequel, but so enjoyable to get more of characters you already began to like from the first book. The author’s writing style is also gripping. I couldn’t turn it off. Like-able characters keeping your attention. What more do you need?

Heartfelt love story

I have been reading and now I am listening to Kristi Ann Hunter's novels. This story touched my heart even more by listening to it. God's presence in Sophia and Aaron's story made it more special. There are times when the story got me very emotional due to Sofia and her brother's struggles, but Mrs. Hunter gives you hope with the intimate moments Sophia and Aaron share. I love this story which gives glimpses of what the 3rd novel will bring, Sophia's brother, Jonas, and Harriet. Spoiler alert: The 3rd book is my favorite 😍!
