Patsy Cline, the beloved country singer, soared from obscurity to worldwide fame before her life tragically ended at age 30. After breaking all the barriers in the Nashville boys' club of the music business in the 1950s, she brought the Nashville sound to the nation with her torch ballads and rockabilly tunes like "Walking After Midnight," "Crazy," and "I Fall to Pieces."

Earthy, sexy, and vivacious, she has been the subject of a major movie and countless articles, and her albums are still among the top five best sellers for MCA almost 30 years after her death. In the end it is her music, a standard feature on jukeboxes from Seattle to Siberia, that prevails and keeps on keeping on.

I really enjoyed reading this book!! My husband & I toured the Patsy Cline museum in Nashville. It was lovely to see a lot of Patsys dresses & other memorabilia. I would recommend you visiting the museum. You will be able to see a lot of things mentioned in the book.

The story was very interesting and contained a lot of information that I never knew. I kept being struck by how young she was when she hit the lime light and how she seemed to be genetically predisposed to it. I was surprised that she was kinda slutty, which was fascinating to learn about

It’s amazing how much life she lived before 30

Loved the book. Have loved Patsy since I was a really small child. My late grandmother would play her and sing to me.

I enjoyed all of it.
