The basic story is pretty good, But the over use of minuscule details were tiring.
I listened to call 3 books because the plot was good and I was guessing who dunit until the ending.
I do recommend this series with a warning to space them out.

Conch is pronounced “konk”. Ask any native of south Florida. It’s frustrating when readers or the producers don’t double check the correct pronunciation.
