This story includes incest, rape, threats to rape, physical assault and whatever you call it when a mate orders someone else to be violent with his girl, also starving her etc...they are centuries old and you are telling me they never psychologically matured? story sounded like a collage of other stories, why would she punish other women if her mates stray? if your man can be tempted from you then he is worthless to you. how could she not understand because so much rides on her if her mates betray her or break her heart it will affect whole worlds ( her mother testing the mates to make sure they don't take aftr their parents is smart and the pain of they fail would have been bad but easier to survive at that point) I have a few questions and there are minor things that don't add up. The main character acts like a 16 year old although she is 20-22 in the story. The nicknames don't have any significant meaning, she is mates with her cousin the son of Lucifer who is her uncle/stepfather. I worry for the author, Girl you need therapy, yours books have power and they influence people so please be more careful what you promote in them. THE PLOT IS GOOD AS IS THE PROGRESSION OF EACH BOOK

I really enjoyed the magic system and the MFC's ability to fight and her strength but her immaturity was very annoying. I feel like she didn't show much growth throughout the series. The MMC's were a bit more enjoyable though. The biggest issue I had with the books was the female narrator. One book has a completely different narrator and the others were inconsistent. I didn't care for her narration for the death God and she added to the immaturity of the MFC. Overall I enjoyed the series enough to finish is but there were those few things that had me considering just reading the series.

Enjoyable read

I enjoyed this book. The series was interesting and kept my attention. I liked the characters.

cliffhanger beware

this rating would have been a 4.5 or even a 5, but alas we are left with a cliffhanger. what was Loki's gift. What happened to the devil in the void. I would personally like to know more about her friendships after she disappeared, and her fae friends in the destroyed tree. More about Death and his power. Is it a one off again, and we were not told if he went back to his original look vs his aging look. wi) there be a spinoff to this novel. if so, then my rating will improve if not, and you like unfinished stories, knock yourself out. how disappointing....
