love everything about it wasn't to long and not to short kept me wanting to read more

I almost quit this book from the very beginning because of the narrator. Paranormal cozies aren’t really my thing, but strip all that away and it’s a decent mystery…it’s just the performance….every male character sounds like a nasally creep. Very off-putting.
