Great story, VA took me out of it a bit

VA for Melisande is amazing, but I struggled a bit with the VA for the men. He gave the guy described several times to have a booming deep voice the highest pitched voice and his feminine voices were a bit off. Still going to get the rest of them in the series, but hope the character voices improve as the series goes on!

For the love of sin this book was HOT!!!

In my personal opinion this book was amazing. The story was smooth and flow easily, Mellasan growth through the book was very believable and she had you rooting for her the entire time.
The performers did there part justice and I am extremely excited to read the next two in the series. 😊❤️💕

Meh

I bought the whole series during the summer sale. The story is slow to develop, I’m hoping the later books have more to offer. I found performances AWFUL. The woman’s voice was sort of valley girl trying to be a fallen Angel, as well as grating. The main male character (don’t know how to spell his name- the B devil) sounds pretentious and like a dude you’d want to smack for being so douchey! The other male characters are less revolting - like the performer toned it down. I will listen to the other books because the overall experience wasn’t awful and, I already bought them.

Enjoyable YA, light spice

It kept me engaged, which I haven’t felt for the last many books. The relationships weren’t instantaneous, but developed in an interesting matter. Its score is for its category.

Good narration. More than adequate, not excellent. Again, enjoyable.
