Enough with abusive romance

I am getting really tired of abusive romantic relationships. I’m still not sure if I’ll listen to more books. The story is interesting, mostly, but alphas and betas don’t have to be jerks.

I thank the person who recommended increasing the speed of the book. I went wit 1.25 and it's the only way I continued and made it through the books. The books get better as you continue in the series, 5-7 are so much better. The recommendation of having a dictionary available is also very true.

This series is absolutely filled with twists and turns! You just never see what will happen next! Great story plot in every single book. About to start on the last book in the series now and I am gonna miss Sky and Ethan!

Stick with it!

Yes, the narrator is very slow, so just speed up the timing and it's fine. Frankly, it took me until probably the middle of the second book before I really felt engaged with the story. I would suggest to just stick with it. I just finished all seven books and I was really happy with them. I didn't always exactly understand what was happening in the plot, but I just went along for the ride and enjoyed it. And there was always a synopsis at a different point, like at the beginning of the next book, where it all sort of came together. I would say stick with this and the characters really evolve and you start to connect with them. And yes, Sky can be annoying but she also has a sense of humor and really grows as a character. I loved her snarky internal narration. 💕
