Okay, so I'm in trouble. Big trouble. I'm broke. Worse, my boyfriend of five years just dumped me.

What do I do? I move in with my three eccentric aunts in their family home, Davenport House. Sounds exciting, only this massive farmhouse likes to eat men.

If I were a regular human, I would have run out screaming like a banshee. As a witch - I do absolutely nothing. Hey, maybe they deserved it?

I'm back in Hollow Cove, the flamboyant paranormal community, where nymphs, werewolves, trolls, shifters, witches, and other paranormals live comfortable lives away from prying human eyes. As I settle into my new life, I decide to accept my aunts' proposal and join the family business - the business of protecting our town and killing anything that would want to harm it. But I've been away from the paranormal world for quite some time, and my magical abilities are a little bit rusty. Heck, they're practically invisible.

Things soon spiral down the crapper when people in our community start dropping like flies. And when demons start showing up in Hollow Cove, it's up to me to take care of them. Permanently.

This is going to be awesome. I just know it.

Meh, a different narrator would have been more enjoyable

I struggled with the narrator, definitely one of the least exciting to listen to. I think I would have enjoyed the story a bit more

more shadow than witch

The story was cute, the dialogue was not great and the narrator was painful to listen to (although greatly improved when going 1.2x speed). None of the characters were very developed, it was somewhat predictable and just overall not my favorite. I liked the basic idea of the story, just felt there could have been more.

I loved her aunts

the best part was the three golden girls as witches the story was ok it was very predictable but enjoyable

A quick book while cleaning

I did like this book there was a few corny things that I do not believe any witches wouldn’t say so as far as the craft I thought it was generic but enjoyable. I would listen to another story by the author and the woman that read the book to me had a lovely easy to listen to voice . Thank you…

Teen/young adult book for sure

I only gave gotten half way by the time I'm writing this. The writing is immature for sure. I researched the author and she is a young adult and children's book author. I don't think I can make it any further. The humor reminds me of teenage or junior high jokes. That's what I get for going for the cool cover art...
