Beautiful story

I love the location of Door County WI, and the simplicity of a time before cell phones and computers. Bittersweet is the perfect title, and the characters seemed very real to me. Good outweighs bad, as in real life.

Right In The Feels

As always, LaVyrle Spencer writes so down to earth and realistically, I can imagine every scene and nuance of the story perfectly. This story could be a story that happens to anyone and that’s what makes it so compelling and wonderful.

I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

Spencer paints beautiful images

Listening to this book was a true gift The author is not a word smith,but rather a WORD CRAFTER. I could smell the mold in the Harding House the first time. Only one criticism- the book was a tad too long.

I really enjoyed this book- I found it very touching and filled with bitter sweet moments!
